Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I've setup an Azure virtual network (see here) and then followed this up with a point-to-site VPN for client machines to connect.

What i'm wanting to do is launch and then kill the VPN link via the command line.

I have a build server that will be connecting to deploy over the private network, and therefore I need to be able to kick this off via an elevated powershell or batchscript.

From having a bit of a dig it appears the Azure team has tried to make it easy to connect by wrapping an IKEV2 type PPTP VPN connection behind a custom installer/driver.

I'm sure that if I could manually set this connection up this may help.

Any ideas?
