What about versions, distribution, configuration etc? I know this works fine for me on Fedora19 and RHEL6.4 –  dyasny Nov 16 '13 at 22:52
Centos 6.4 x64, guests installed with virt-manager. newest qemu/kvm. –  Flegma Nov 16 '13 at 23:05
how are the v-disks set up? –  dyasny Nov 17 '13 at 4:15
<devices> <emulator>/usr/bin/kvm</emulator> <disk type='file' device='disk'> <driver name='qemu' type='raw'/> <source file='/var/lib/libvirt/images/guest.img'/> <target dev='hda' bus='ide'/> <address type='drive' controller='0' bus='0' unit='0'/> </disk> Thats from guest.xml. Also, the disks were made through virt-manager, no caching. –  Flegma Nov 17 '13 at 9:38
try to switch to virtio instead of ide (dev='vda' bus='virtio') –  dyasny Nov 17 '13 at 16:21
