Server Fault is a question and answer site for professional system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have configured 2 OpenLDAP servers as provider and consumer to have replication but I am getting following error in the OpenLDAP log of the consumer server.

bdb_dn2id: get failed: DB_NOTFOUND: No matching key/data pair found (-30989)

I am using OpenLDAP 2.4.32 version.

I am not able to log in to the consumer server at all after restarting the consumer server. When I try to test the consumer connection it gives ok but their are no users on the database.

Any specific changes to be done to the config to make it work.
