I need to resize the drive partition on a production server running Centos 6.4 64bit
If necessary, I'll temporarily move my sites to a VPS. If this change can be done without this, that would be easier.
What I have now:
root@server [~]# df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_root 9.9G 9.2G 213M 98% / tmpfs 7.8G 0 7.8G 0% /dev/shm /dev/sdb1 485M 53M 407M 12% /boot /dev/mapper/VolGroup-lv_home 116G 30G 81G 27% /home
What I need to have according to cPanel's requirements:
/ = Grow to fill disk (40 GB recommended, 20 GB minimum) swap = 2x the server's RAM (I have 16GB RAM)
The drives are 146GB each (primary / secondary).
For whatever reason, I noticed the secondary was used as primary (sdb) instead of sda. No big deal actually, just weird.
