Server Fault is a question and answer site for system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

So I'm setting up a SonicWALL PRO 3060 and I noticed that it doesn't have some optional PortShield upgrade -- oh well, my loss. However I find that I've started needing something very PortShield-like.

So my question to all my fellow network administrators out there, is this: Is there some configuration out there that behaves reasonably like PortShield (e.g. I get DHCP, pinging between ports, all that good stuff), or do I really have no other choice except to set it up that way on two separate "networks"?

I'm still working on the bulk of this, so redoing some part of the setup isn't a big deal.

Thanks!
