Server Fault is a question and answer site for system and network administrators. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Need to create a custom build process template for Team Foundation Service which would allow to run integration tests after deploying the project, i.e. process should be as follows:

  1. Build
  2. Run unit tests
  3. Deploy to staging environment (in my case Azure website)
  4. Run integration tests

Tried several approaches, also found this article - http://nickhoggard.wordpress.com/2011/03/13/adding-integration-tests-to-tfs-build-workflow/, but still couldn't make it work.

Does anybody have experience with that, maybe any good article or a sample xaml file which has those steps implemented properly?

Also here is a template where I added "Run Integration Tests" sequence which supposed to run the integration tests after the project deploy - https://www.dropbox.com/s/9w9luacewvqb041/AzureContinuousDeployment.11%20-%20Advanced.xaml It runs unit tests, deploys the project without a problem, but then throws an exception when trying to run integration tests. Seems like the problem is related to the log file path, because it says - "Access to the path 'C:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-18' is denied."

Any help would be highly appreciated. Many thanks!
