I recently had a hosting company that had a dual drive failure within 6 minutes of each other, not sure how that could even happen. However they had to restore a backup of the server last night. After they did that the server and websites on it are really slow. Pages with big SQL queries take forever, but are fast if I execute it on the server directly with a stored procedure. Any clue why the server would be so slow after a backup restore on Windows Server 2008 R2?
