Trying to get the Dropbox alternative Seafile to run automatically on startup on my VPS running on CentOS 6.4.

I want to get these two commands on startup. Noob here, any help will be really appreciated.

The directory the files are is like - /home/ABC/storage/seafile-server-2.1.4

And these are the commands I want to run on startup, just for one user "ABC" which is also the root user

./ start

./ start < port >

PS. Seafile wiki here says how to do it but I just couldn't get the rc.local file to work for me :( - - -

those instructions you linked sound like the proper way to go. When you say you "just couldn't get the rc.local file to work" what did you try, what was the result? I'd try going through the steps on that page one by one and copy and paste each step's results here into your question so someone can see what went wrong. – user16081-JoeT Feb 23 '14 at 19:18
you may need to do this for PATH in rc.local #!/bin/sh export PATH="$PATH:/path/to/python/bin" – user16081-JoeT Feb 23 '14 at 19:25
