![Oracle error in PL SQL Developer][1] I am facing issues while trying to connect my database through PL-SQL Developer. It throws error - ORA-01034 everytime. Please note the below. 1.I am using Eazconnect method to connect database like username/passwd :/ in the connection fields for PL-SQL developer tool. but I am able to connect other database location with same method. 3.I am able to connect the same database through sql developer/Toad and putty for the same host and instance. 4.I checked the log.xml file in the server and i can see logs are updating with the request from my machine and program name as "plsqldev.exe" and my ip is also shown with " * establish * " printed.

I want to use pl/sql developer to find differences between various databases with data for which sql developer/toad is not suitable (I think).
