I am trying to add a couple of RAID 5 arrays to my second adapter. Adapter 0 is two disks in a raid 1 which is running the OS. This seems to be working fine. Attempting to add the second array gives this failure:

  ./MegaCli64 cfgldadd -r5 [32:1,32:2,32:3,32:4,32:5,32:6,32:7,32:8] -a1

Adapter 1: Configure Adapter Failed

FW error description:
The requested command has invalid arguments.

Exit Code: 0x03

The controllers are:

lspci | grep RAID

16:00.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 2208 [Thunderbolt] (rev 05)
1b:00.0 RAID bus controller: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS 2208 [Thunderbolt] (rev 05)

There is (should be) 24 working drives attached to the second array, slots 1-24. I can see each drive's info with:

./MegaCli64 -pdInfo -PhysDrv '[32:1]' -a1

I'm at a bit of a loss what to check next. I do have some other servers that are (supposed) to be configured the same way on the same hardware that is working. Only the OS drives on this server are listed in /dev/sda# . Any ideas are greatly appreciated, please and thank you.
