hey guys, I'm trying to use wampserver to set up a website that is accessible from anywhere on my lan, but I can't get it to work. Anyone have any tips/suggestions to help me out?

Seems like your webserver is only listening on the loopback interface. You may try a left-click on the wamp icon and choose put online. | |||

You should just be able to type the IP and the port you've used (defauly 80 for WAMP iirc). Eg 192.168.0.5:80 Is the server able to be accessed locally? Is it online? Is your firewall blocking it (shouldn't be blocking port 80 but check anyway) | |||

I've hit the button to turn it online, and it does work from my local computer. Firewall doesn't even seem to exist. (windows server 2000) | |||||

I noted that turning off skype before running, magically solve this issue. If you are not using skype think about other apps that could be using same range ports. | |||

Can you provide any more details, like what port apache is listening on? Look in the http.conf file. Are you just using the IP, or do you have a DNS set up? Can you ping the computer with WAMP from other computers on your network? | |||
