I have a Xen virtual machine that has been running for over a year under a decent load. I restarted it this morning, and it's been several hours booting. I think it's FSCKing itself.
xm list shows that's it's using a lot of cpu. I can't
xm console into it.
xenconsole: Could not open tty '/dev/pts/0': No such file or directory. The filesystem is EXT3.
Is there any way for me to:
- See a boot log / console for the VM, so I can verify what it is doing?
- Find out how much longer the FSCKing is going to take?
