I have a tablet (laptop) with Vista business. I wanted to convert it to VM but VMWare Converter Standalone Client would just stop after some 20% of progress. Tha laptop is HP EliteBook 2730p with Intel Core Duo LV (not ULV). Anyone have any ideas on how to do this?

Any errors logged by Converter or on the Vista client's Event Viewer? – Chris_K Nov 12 '09 at 15:19
That's the problem. The error was just one, generic. I don't quite remember, but it was something like "Error creating image"!?! – Mihaela Nov 12 '09 at 15:45
Try the VMWare forums. I've had the best luck there solving VMWare issues – SpaceManSpiff Nov 13 '09 at 11:02
