I need restrict access to a folder named "abc" from guest account in windows vista .
Other account should able to access ..how to do this?

Since this is 10 hours old with no responses, I'll take a stab. This kind of question would be better asked on superuser (link at the bottom of the page). I'm not a regular Vista user and don't have a system to check at home, but if you right-click on the folder and select Properties, you may see a Security tag on the window that opens. If so, try adding the Guest account to the list of accounts and Deny access to the folder. If you don't have that then I suspect there's no other good way - either your drive is not formatted with NTFS (which is needed for setting security permissions) or your version of Vista doesn't allow setting them (I'm not sure if Vista Home allows it). | |||
