I've setup a sharepoint account and my office is using outlook 2007. Right now we're only using it for sharing the calendar.

The calendar syncs perfectly whenever anyone adds or modifies an appointment. However, when someone deletes an appointment, it stays deleted in their outlook calendar, but it's not deleted from the Sharepoint calendar or from anyone else's outlook.

I've seen some indications that other people have had this problem, but I haven't seen any solutions that work. I tried the solution offered in the link above, but it didn't work; there were no extraneous entries in the database. Strangely enough, when I deleted the database entry from within access, it was removed from all of the calendars. The problem seems to be with outlook and how it deletes appointments.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? It's a big pain.

Disagree this is the correct site.. SharePoint integration is absolutely a sysadmin issue not an enduser issue, even if it is a client problem. – tomjedrz Dec 16 '09 at 19:41
