How can I set up a .forward file for a virtual mail user?
My system is based on exim4, courier-imap and mysql.
The homepath is the same as the maildir (for the virtual users)
exim4 is run as Debian-exim and courier is run as another unpriviliged user (this combination works perfect except the .forward files)

As you've still not had an answer, I'll throw out the idea of looking at vexim which (if I remember properly) outlines some of the permission issues with using virtual users.
