How can I set AWS EC2 TimeZone?
running the command
sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata
and following the on screen wizard helped me.

Apache won't respond to requests using my domain name, only to requests directed at the server's IP
Looks like you made a typo when you updated the A Record.
When I pinged that domain name the IP I got is: 172.126.69.72 not 176.126.69.72

In one of my tutorials I show how to set the timezone on Amazon Linux.
ls -l /usr/share/zoneinfo/ # (Find the applicable zone file)
mv /etc/localtime /etc/localtime.original
ln -s /usr/share/...
