I would make sure to use at least RSTP if not MSTP.

No, exchange 2003 still has public folder databases. We could not get a mailbox on 2003 to access a public folder on 2010 properly. So we went for replication.

The same for a new folder. Yes we used the procedure for moving public folders. Unfortunately the 2003 server cannot be uninstalled just yet as there are still users on it for at least another month because of some phone dependencies. So the 2003 still is a replica for a sub-tree, but not the one testing in. The foldes we tested on are purely on 2010.

yes and no. It started to show on migrated folders. During tests it also showed on a newly created subfolder. I'm gonna test /testfolder as folder and see if that makes any difference.

comment Why do I have to manually 'Restart Management Network' on vSphere 5 host after reboot to get networking available?
Did you ever solve this? having the same problem with esx5.1 on a Dell Blade and using Dell 8024k Switches. Either shutting one LAG member port or the LAG down helps. Restarting management network does not help.

comment How to debug missing enterprise root ca certificate?
The cleanup of the registry key did help on one PC. Had to copy certutil to this PC for it to work. Would a cleanup and reboot work too?
