comment VMWare Virtual Machine mysql / apache services not working the same after a VM copy
Here's the output of ps ax|grep mysql: dev@ubuntu:~$ ps ax|grep mysql 3989 pts/0 S+ 0:00 grep mysql dev@ubuntu:~$ ... no mysql running. The file /etc/apache2/sites-available/default shows my docroot as /var/www, which is what it should be and is where my html docs are located. The primarily weird this about this is that I just copied the VMware image to another computer and booted it up, and all these things just stopped working. Very weird.
