comment Exchange: exporting and deleting items
First of, my apologies for the seemingly long delay in responding (I've been nightmare busy, and apparently overlooked the ServerFault notifier, somehow(?)). To get details to such requests, you should use the CMD-let Get-MailboxExportRequestStatistics link

comment New-MoveRequest - How to assign -TargetDatabase dynamically
I feel that I am almost there, but preparing 5000+ objects is a somewhat tedious job and wonder if there is a possibility to 'automate' the final step. In other words, what if I would like the possibility to automate the -Targetdatabase from a selection of 5 databases?

I am still very eager to understand if there is a possibility to script this. The advantage here is that we can control the usage of DB's and so on, whereas the Automatic Mailbox Distribution is 'random'

I am reluctant to use the wrapper you referred to and have changed the command to use Out-File instead. I am running the command now to see the results and I will report back regarding the outcome.
