2.6.32.12-mammoth1, my host provides a few to choose from. But they don't go as low as my old server.

service iptables restart is what I did. But it seems "iptables-restore rules.txt" did nothing. Should I just copy paste them in... One thing I did notice is the iptables file doesn't even exist, it wants to make one.

Would you have any software to recommend that has a web interface, i'd prefer not to have to do too much command line.

Live gamedata, i've read many instances of where the data will corrupt if a full backup is not done.

comment How to give permission to an account to reboot server?
The issue is a lot of data caches for the game and it causes a few problems. Also a nice reboot cleans up everything to run smooth. I've tried stopping the service clearing the cache and then booting the service again...but it's not as good I find.

comment Creating a backup script involving screens and java?
The thing is I plan to set this up as an automatic thing to happen via cronjob every hour. I can't do anything manually. The screen is used because it loads a program in java which has a console.

so that "disown" gets put into the java command inside the screen? This makes me go back into ssh?
