@DanielKobe The DNS zone owning the host record in question is not bound to only exist on the DNS server that you can't currently send UDP/53 packets to. It could also be an indication of a split-horizon DNS setup.

Yes, there is an (unsupported) way of doing this, but instanceType is not the type of attribute value you would normally change, for any reason. What are you trying to accomplish?
