I'm a long-time programmer, coming from an old-school background of DOS Batch programming and Visual Basic 6, and later moving into the commercial world, and into C#, .NET, Access, VBA, SQL Server and Javascript/HTML-5 technologies.
You'll notice I often ask and answer my own questions. To my surprise, many of those questions actually get visited and up-voted, proving that a lot of the stuff we think is unique to our particular project can actually be very useful to other people.
