hmmm...about the cache, I was thinking about that too. But what if the data is too big to be cached "whole"? Can the server cache the half of it, for example? And if so, will only the first half be uploaded at a speed > 30Mbps?

I just disabled then re-enabled the network interface card. The Discards and Errors went to zero. That just reset those values, I believe. I hope my NIC is not dying. Might be the unstable connection.
