comment RabbitMQ hanged up
It's what it says "Error in log handler". You have the stack trace, the last function it tried to execute is error_logger_file_h:write_event but it fails. Error function_clause means the code exited because the function either doesn't exist (e.g. the module isn't loaded or the function is no longer there) or it doesn't accept the arguments with which the code tries to call it. And then you have the arguments. I would propose that you try to follow the stack trace (you have modules, functions and lines on the stack) and check what's wrong with the arguments or the last function.

comment Delay after file adjustment on FreeBSD
Try to refresh the page holding Shift. This will reload the page without reading the cache. Or alternatively delete browser cache and reload the page. Does that work? I am sure the problem is misconfiguration on your part rather than FreeBSD itself. FreeBSD would be pretty useless if every file was written to disk with a minute of delay!

comment SSH connect to FreeBSD9 suddenly started to freeze randomly
Would you suspect any file system corruption and do you have a snapshot you could try to restore? Things don't break without a reason. Either there was something new installed either on the host or guest system or something broke. Maybe you could try to reinstall or upgrade to 10.3, since upgrading to a new version would recreate most system files?

comment FreebSD 10.1 x64 KLDLOAD UCOM and UTDFI
I don't know that unfortunately. But this is a separate question you can ask either here or on a pfsense forum.

That changes a lot. I don't know if pfsense uses the same kernel and if the kernel modules can be moved across. Are you trying to move the .ko files from FreeBSD to pfsense or from another pfsense? Can you install devel/binutils on it to get the readelf application? You may want to add pfsense tag to your question too.

readelf is part of devel/binutils, can you install it? Can you also list modules loaded in your kernel with kldstat? BTW ucom.ko is already present in /boot/kernel so no need to copy it from another system.

comment Can't enable TLSv1.2 on nginx on a FreeNAS jail
Can you check openssl version to get the version of OpenSSL? TLS 1.2 is supported in version 1.0.1: openssl.org/docs/faq.html Did you read the nginx document nginx.org/en/docs/http/configuring_https_servers.html ? Also, openssl ciphers -v will give you list of available ciphers in OpenSSL, you can check if the ciphers you wanted to enable are supported.

Can you add to your question output from readelf -h UTDFI.ko and readelf -h UCOM.ko?

comment env not working in FreeBSD cronjob
It may not be a matter of problems with env but rather the environment variables used when running the script. Try to add something like env > /tmp/env.txt inside the script run from crontab to debug what variables are available when running the script. which python2 gives me /usr/local/bin/python2 and /usr/local/bin/ is specifically added to the PATH environment variable: PATH=/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin - notice /usr/local/bin in the last part. This may not be set up when you run the script from the crontab.

comment How to detect slow code or plugin
This code was being called when generating EVERY page: $googlefontsSeraliazed = wp_remote_get("http://phat-reaction.com/googlefonts.php?format=php");. The result was cached but that's not enough when the remote server is down and the call always fails. This doesn't say much good about the quality of the Belief - Church WordPress Theme code. Thanks for help.

comment How to detect slow code or plugin
I disabled all plugins and it didn't help, so my guess is that it's either the Belief theme or some other code added to a page. Will the P3 plugin help in that case?

SSH is being sorted out. I can download scripts through FTP apparently and debug on my own computer. I will try to grep the code and see if there is anything obvious.

comment What's the FreeBSD equivalent for the Linux pointopoint
I haven't used pointopoint myself so can't give a definitive answer, but seeing that this protocol is used for PPP connections maybe this doc can help: freebsd.org/doc/handbook/userppp.html Another point is that it would be good to know which and what types of addresses you are trying to use. Are they public or private IPs? Is eth0 exactly the same IP as vmbr0 and if yes, shouldn't the router be behind a NAT? If you bridge eth0 with vmbr0 using the same IP how an external host may know which system the packet should be send to?
