non-delivery errors on internally sent emails to newly created user Did you have exchange 2000 or 2003 before you had 2007 by any chance? If so was the original mailbox already there at that time? |

Is it possible to duplicate a UDP unicast stream with iptables? The gateway is just a next hop the destination still remains 192.168.1.2 and you are not able to DNAT the duplicated packets on the machine "teeing" them. So 127.0.0.1 will not work either. |

Thunderbird does not recognize that my server supports STARTTLS Check the expert settings of Mail Shield. I think you can configure SSL Accounts there and tell it to use STARTTLS for that server. |

Thunderbird does not recognize that my server supports STARTTLS Yes it would. That is why I asked if you netcat/telnet from a different machine that might not be affected by AV-software like the one that Thunderbird is running on. |

Allow VM2 access VM1's SQL Server Database Is that a typo or did you enter VM2's IP as the local IP in a firewall rule on VM1? |

Thunderbird does not recognize that my server supports STARTTLS Is the machine you run netcat or telnet from the same machine that Thunderbird is running on? If not is it possible that something is intercepting SMTP-connections to scan outgoing email (AV-software or maybe a firewall with SMTP-proxy enabled)? |
