if that's the case then I don't think you can use any standard tools for non-standard webapp, the best thing to do is to reach out to rackspace and ask them what can be used for that, you may need to use their API in order to access it..

I dont think your "yum" is original yum, it seems like every command that we do returns same thing. do "rpm -q yum" and then "which yum", "file which yum", alias | grep yum
