If it involves computers or electronics, I probably do it.

I have experience with Exchange, Sharepoint, Zabbix, Powershell, Hyper-V clusters, and a whole host of other things.

If you need to contact me, my email address is grant@emsley.ca

Group Policy Preferences may be of great use here as well, since they can easily be setup to target specific user groups without creating a bunch of separate policies.

Do you have managed switches? If so do the logs for that switchport show anything? Its unlikely to be spanning tree problems, but if it is that is where you will see the evidence.

Could you not just adjust you imaging system to append an L or something to the hostname when applying the image? Or have a script in the os image that makes the change before it joins the domain?

comment About digital signatures. Are they really secure?
@Peregring-lk The secure channel is only one way. For signing, someone signing something with your public key means absolutely nothing, since everyone has the public key. But signing with your private key (which you have, hopefully, kept private) means you signed it. For encryption, you encrypt with my public key. Only the my private key will decrypt it. Having my public key lets you verify I sent a signed message, or send me an encrypted message. But it does nothing to show who sent me that encrypted message, or who reads my signed message.

@Peregring-lk even with the updated question, I'm still not sure why you believe someone can get the private key. Can you please explain how you think a person you send a message to gets the private part of the key?
