If it involves computers or electronics, I probably do it.

I have experience with Exchange, Sharepoint, Zabbix, Powershell, Hyper-V clusters, and a whole host of other things.

If you need to contact me, my email address is grant@emsley.ca

@errolfitzgerald HAProxy supporrs SNI which will work with many (but not all) browsers, or you can assign more IP addresses to the haproxy, so it has one for each certificate you use.

comment VBS script to check the service and its status
Also, windows handles automatically restarting services on its own. You can configure how it retrys in the service properties, including the option to reboot the server if it can't restart the service.

comment VBS script to check the service and its status
Instead of randomly rebooting your server, why not fix the underlying problems that are causing the service to fail? I would be having strong words with anyone who implemented this "solution" on one of my production servers.

@int2000 in both cases, packets were leaving a port on it's native vlan. If you were sending packets on VLAN2, they would leave with VLAN tags.

I prefer to automate the restore from my backups. That way you get automatic testing thay your backup and restore procedures work as well.

comment Is it possible to detect rx+ rx- tx+ tx- wires with multimeter?
@roman yes. I believe the one I have is a fluke nettool. They aren't cheap, but they save a lot of time and effort diagnosing bad cables. Seriously though - just cut the end off and wire it up properly.
