comment Samba high cpu usage after mapping shares to windows network drive
Shares to Linux work OK, unfortunately windows downloads files 2-4x slower.

comment samba server as network storage for VHD discs
I am kinda one man shop and I am not so keen to buy more licenses. Tried to add one Hyper-V server to the domain, worked well, I will try if vhd on the server will work now, but I would still prefer to keep them on the Samba. Domain means more work to set it up and actually tried it before. I cannot see the point really, I have 50 identical computers right now, 2 servers ad 5 workstations. That is really simple, i cannot see any benefits I will get from moving to domain, except more work and system works now ok, all except the vhd hosting.

comment Windows 7 boot manager editor as an option in boot manager
I do not mind any, I would like to have an option to edit it before loading operating system, does GRUB allow that?

So the plan is - foam on the doors, panels behind them and - if we will need it - curtain in front. That should do - I hope. :)

Yes, it is very loud, that is exactly why I asked the question above.

Unfortunately I am in Korea and we have sliding doors here but I will try to do some research about if I can replace them. But noise isolating sliding doors - that even sound strange. :) We have 2KW cooling there (2 units), can be upgraded if needed so I think we are fine on that front.
