comment How can I get memory usage reported in SNMP under Mac OS X 10.8 Server?
Good thought! I believe the configs were the same, I will confirm that. How did you get the above list? Just cat config.nice or is there a way to get it from a compiled snmpd binary?

(And please don't downvote me just because you dislike Mac OS X. This really is a server question! It's on topic, I swear!)

comment Samba3 share for Windows, Linux and OSX is unreliable
Not sure specifically what to say about the disappearing files, nor the permission issues... sorry! I run both Netatalk and Samba and use both from Mac OS X clients and don't see these issues. if I come up with other ideas I will let you know!

Sure thing. Be sure to answer your own question with what you did that actually solved it, and accept your own answer so others know you aren't still looking for an answer to this.

Yeah that's what I suspected also... Many ISPs do this in order to limit SPAM. Ask if they have an MTA you can use and configure postfix to use a relayhost

On the old site, temporarily add var_dump(get_included_files()); somewhere to the code. Maybe line 101 of Queue.php. Look at the output and find where Mail.php is. My guess is it's a Zend Framework file.

They're not Perl. Might be Pear, could just be a file you forgot to copy... More details about the PHP script are needed. Are you sure there's no Mail.php file on the old server?

Hmmm, the permissions issues are very strange. You might ant to consider using AFP for your Mac clients.

Seems to me that your ISP is blocking outgoing port 25 traffic. Can you telnet df02.sitepalette.com 25?
