comment Should I install x86_64 or i386 RPM packages?
I am still not understanding @jpmc26. Yes, x86 is used to denote "processor architectures ending in 86", but the two choices he has available are one package specifically compatible with 386 processors, and one package compatible with x86 64-bit processors. I don't understand what you mean by, "but isn't this why it's x86?"

comment Should I install x86_64 or i386 RPM packages?
@jpmc26 but the choices are i386 and x86_64, note the _64 meaning "64 bit". He's running i686 which is not 64-bit so i386 is the proper choice.

comment How to prevent cpanel from doing graceful restart every time an add on domain is added
Again, I'd like to point out that many of us are forced to use cPanel. Often we're sysadmins at hosting companies. Neither vim nor Puppet provide end users with ways to manage their email addresses, create forwarders, edit .htaccess files using a GUI, view and manage log files and stats, track quota and bandwidth usage, install web software... the list goes on. Just because our companies make us use cPanel doesn't mean we're bad sysadmins :-) That being said, an Apache graceful restart should not bring Apache down and should not take 5-10 minutes. That's the issue here, not cPanel.

comment Why am I getting only 1gbps between Solaris and VMware?
Thanks. This was almost it, but I need some tuning on the VMware side. I'm not getting ~8-9 gbps between VMs on the host, but still only ~1-3 gbps between the VM and the host itself...

comment Hosting a ZFS server as a virtual guest
Are you using an E1000 vnic or a VMXNet3 vnic for the NFS network? Because I'm only getting 1gbps between Nexenta/Solaris and VMware using a similar setup and can't figure out how to get more speed. What version of NexentaStor? I suspect the version they currently have available is broken...

comment What does “domain or user is in the queue only list. Message queued” mean?
@FalconMomot unfortunately some professional systems administrators like myself are required to support and maintain cPanel for our customers. cPanel is used in large scale web hosting and is on topic. I didn't ask to have to maintain cPanel but it is one of my responsibilities as a systems administrator. Questions about cPanel from a user perspective are off-topic; questions about cPanel from the sysadmin side are on-topic.

If I didn't change your question with my edits, the answer is "You can't, because of the Project1 directory"

my apologies for being dense... in the example you provided, how can I determine how large the dedpue table is, specifically, how much RAM / L2ARC it consumes?

Sending performance is not dramatically worse that I have noticed. The messages which do get queued show up in the WHM "Mail Queue Manager" but it doesn't appear like other email is affected. Not sure yet though.

I am guessing this is due to a new cPanel/WHM feature. I am going to research this further and will answer my own question when/if I find the answer.
