comment Can I automatically add a new host to known_hosts?
Why do you need all 3 ssh-keyscan's? Can't you get by with just the first one since it works for both hostname and ip?

comment Routing issue from one network another one thru an openvpn server
Is your local subnet the same as the remote subnet, or is 172.25 your local? Does your local machine have a route for 10.21?

comment Windows Server 2008 R2 reports full disk, but files do not add up
You might try windirstat to see what it shows. It sometimes provides insight into where space is going.

comment All messages from the mail server are marked as spam by default
In gmail open and check your headers to see why gmail is sending it to spam. That might be a good hint or somewhere to start. Look at the Received-SPF and X-SPAM areas for sure. To see headers open the email -> click down arrow -> show original

Is your ssh authenticating to ldap? Possibly the LDAP is the hangup.

comment In ubuntu, which process is sending igmp packets?
Are those addresses in same subnet as your machine or public ip? Or belong to any websites your visiting? It looks like its not a router protocol but rather a wan multicast protocol. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_Group_Management_Protocol

I'd also use the firewall so its more accessible around the network. Do you know what firewall model you have?

comment Create a ODBC connection from file .bat at Windows
.bat only gives you access to what is at command line, so I don't think it's possible. It should be possible with visual basic though, although I've never done it.

comment Access external IP during VPN connection
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. I've never heard of any cases where after a VPN connect then it'll loose access to primary address. Just make sure your VPN isn't telling the system to tunnel all traffic through the vpn. In OpenVPN this setting is called "redirect-gateway" openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/documentation/…

comment Tunneling a public IP to a remote machine
"To be clear, I want to create tunnel directly between A and B, not on separate firewalls at each end." You are going to need to open a port somewhere for an OpenVPN server

comment Tunneling a public IP to a remote machine
Also there is this, I've had it working but not with public IPs. I think virtual ip's will be much better either way. openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/documentation/miscellaneous/…

comment Tunneling a public IP to a remote machine
But when computer A wants to route to computer B it won't know if it should use the WAN (with your public IPs), the LAN (with its static IP) or the OpenVPN (also with your public IPs) because they are all same subnet. B to A should work though.

Are you sure its not a password issue, as error suggests? I think the folder is there, its just hidden so they can probably get there via address bar rather than browsing

comment How do I configure wireless router to stop forwarding broadcast directed traffic to the network?
Not sure if your router has that feature. You might call your ISP and ask if they can give you a new IP address.
