The server that our KMS is running on provides licensing for a number of products. The licensing software that is running on it is only supported on Server 2003. It would be possible to bring up a server just for KMS that is 2008R2, but the preference would be to extend functionality of the current server if possible.

The shares are spread across a number of different volumes due to the amount of data being stored and the number of users with home directories.
