CentOS 6.2 there is no slapd.conf after installating openldap Thanks for the reply. Well I does not know from where I should take my 1st step to configure openldap server.This is a new style & on the google I mostly found the complete configuration for how to configure openldap server using old method i.e slapd.conf file.Can you kindly write the steps so I may fallow them ? Shouuld be thankfull |

Well I want to configure openldap with samba to authenticate my windows xp & windows 7 users.Currently i am using centos 6.2 The steps which I will follow (in non production enviroment) are 1st I shall configure openldap server then will start configuration for samba server with my linux box. This will authenticate & may a share drive for windows users. Kindly can you sent me the steps so I may follow it? At the moment i am making example.com thanks. |
