comment .bat file - Nagios v3.2 service check and start if stopped
Hey Katherine, Thanks for the help! I'll test the script in a lab and let you know how it works. The nagios client is installed on these systems so I know NSClient++ is in use. Do you know how to make it try 3x and if it fails to start the service it goes to a critical status?

comment HPe5406zl switch - stops routing after 2-4 days of uptime
Hey Thanks for the suggestion ewwhite. Its currently running the latest firmware (verified yesterday). I t hink that some kind of buffer is overloading so i'll start monitoring the performance. If a bug was causing something to be dumped into ram its logical that it could take 2-5 days to cap out the ram ect. I'll let you know if I find anything further. thanks again

comment LLMNR Disabling possible issues?
I was able to find windowsnetworking.com/articles-tutorials/windows-server-2008/… after I had posted. That goes through it in pretty good depth. Thanks again for the reassurance!

comment LLMNR Disabling possible issues?
Hey Michael, Thanks for your speedy reply! That's how I understand it as well. Theres a massive amount of posts with people trying to get it to work in corporate environments so it made me a little uneasy just removing it.

comment Exchange 2010. Server name keeps defaulting to domain.local vs web address
Hey j0risvdb thanks for the advice! Outlook anywhere (RPC over HTTP) is set correctly and has the external domain. I'm trying to remove the "internal network" functionality. I want it to always populate with the mail.externaldomain.com vs the servername.domainname.local. I'm totally lost here. I've been searching the past few days with no luck

comment Exchange 2010. Server name keeps defaulting to domain.local vs web address
For security reasons only a select few have access to VPN. Most users can connect externally without a problem but i'm showing a couple that are having this major issue. Outlook anywhere is enabled and setup correctly. What I would like to see into doing is changing the default internal domain to our external mail server URL (mail.example.com) instead of having it default to the system.domain.local address. Whenever its changed manually it reverts back.

comment server 2008 R2 and asa5505. DHCP through DMZ
Thanks for the suggestions! I have enabled DHCP relay for the server Network and pointed it to the DHCP server. I have also added each address scheme in. 192.168.50.50-192.168.50.200 192.168.30.50-192.168.30.200 The issue i'm having now is that the DHCP server (server 2008R2) is not populating the list of leased addresses and its populating on the ASA. to setup DHCP server relay it requires you disable DHCP on all interfaces. Do you guys know if theres a fix for that?
