I am a programmer for a Greater Boston municipality, and maintain a collection/reporting system written in Informix 4GL and C and running on Linux. Additional components written in Clojure and Python.
Have completed an archiving and caching system to integrate with our Water Automated Meter Reading (AMR) project written almost entirely in Python with a Django web interface.
I maintain a web site implemented in Perl and Javascript, and perform various other IT-related duties.

How can I cancel a delayed shutdown? What's the name of the service? I'm looking in services and don't see it. |

How can I cancel a delayed shutdown? Didn't work. The message said there was no active shutdown in place. This is what's so unnerving about it. You can't just download and reboot when you want to like to good old days. That dialog will come back up in 4 hours, and I have to be there to dismiss it again. |

What are steps to clear sendmail queue without rebooting? The message wasn't locked. The pid was locked. I've edited the OP to include the message the bot sends me. root sends the message. An account named dbadmin gets the message. While that message sits in the queue, root can send as many emails as it likes to dbadmin, and they go through. |

Documentation For The “Other” ntp (HP/Epson Printing) My whole point of writing this, is what now appears to have been a vendor's application had some documentation associated with it that made it seem to be part of HP's utilities. I could not find ntp.exe anywhere that was not associated with what most of us assume is ntp (network time protocol.) |

Documentation For The “Other” ntp (HP/Epson Printing) This is vendor added, and not in c:\windows\system32. However, the command instructions have references to HP and Epson. |
