Yes I applied the private key file with .ppk extension. Yes I didnt put 22 in port segment. I cross checked the public dns name again.

Thanks for your answer Iain, it helped . I did it and now my instance is running and linked the elastic ip address with godaddy domain. How long should it take for my domain name to be active??
