comment Adding a new Domain Controller to existing Domain
Just an afterthought - doesn't the domain/forest need adprep'ing prior to adding a 2008 DC to a 2003 domain?

comment MSIE 6.0 appearing in client header - Indication of bot?
Unfortunately, MSIE 6 does indeed exist in the wild. A lot of companies still mandate it as their standard browser.

comment How does Windows hide internal users?
The reg key you're referring to is for hiding user accounts from the old Windows XP non-domain logon screen that presents a list of local users of the system. Presumably the same key works for Vista/7 also.

comment How to Restart explorer.exe Remotely?
If you want to keep the user logged in, can you connect to the console session using mstsc /admin (or mstsc /console if you're using XP/2003) and then do a CTRL+ALT+END from there?

If you can log in, you can remotely log off another user via the Task Manager.
