comment “trick” Exchange 2010 into allowing unauthenticated users to send mail to a group
I haven't tried it myself, but here's an idea: *Set up the address as a mailbox rather than a distribution group *Set up an internal distribution group that contains all the other DG's that you want to send the mail to *Configure the mailbox to forward all incoming mail to the distribution group.

comment Outlook Anywhere with ISA 2006 autodiscover failing isa denying the url (exchange 2013)
Hang on, you're using integrated authentication on the inbound rule? Not sure this'll work for external clients - besides, Autodiscover connections probably won't be authenticated anyway

comment IIS starts, but w3wp.exe is not running and not serving the pages
+1 I suspect you may have a memory leak with an external DLL - your Connections_Refused lines in HTTPSYS.log suggest that this might be the case. Also see here

Check %SystemRoot%\System32\LogFiles\HTTPERR\ for indications that HTTP.SYS is rejecting the connections for some reason.

Could you paste the results of the deny in ISA?

Run a log trace on your ISA server for requests that match the traffic. ISA will tell you which rule is denying the traffic.

Does netstat -b tell you which process on the server is trying to make the outbound connection to the client?

comment Windows 2008 R2 - What is the Attribute that defines the default user or group that can add the computer to a domain?
If you mean you want to change the group membership of the computer object, you'd need to do that after the account has been created. If you need to do this with a large number of accounts that you want to create, you'd be better off scripting it.

comment Can't access Server 2012 IIS 8 remotely. Firewall settings are set to forward port to server's LAN IP
More info needed. How is your server connected to the Internet? If there's a router is it NATing incoming requests to the correct IP?

Does the server in question have the Akamai NetSession Interface service installed?

comment User denied access randomly
You'll need to supply lots more detail if you want this question to remain open. For example: What happens when they fail to get access to their documents? What do the ACLs on those files look like? Is it always the same files affected? What rights does the user have on the server? Are they logging onto the server directly or mapping a drive/going to a UNC path.

comment Is it Possible to Run Multiple Instances of IIS 7.5 on the Same Server?
+1 Each application pool will run inside its own w3wp.exe process so you'll at least prevent separate apps from trashing another's process if you put them in separate pools. But yeah, separate servers is the best plan.
