Can no longer access computer or network shares to my server from any other computers on the network As for the other computers on the network (without offline files on the share) they present the "windows cannot access //Server check the spelling of the name..." error, if there is a way of finding a more comprehensive log of the error let me know. I am still able to connect to the server via Remote Desktop also - if this helps. Thanks for your help. |

Can no longer access computer or network shares to my server from any other computers on the network As I mentioned in my question I can ping the server from all other computers on the network both via IP address and computer name, the server is also listed in the "Network". On my personal computer it presents no error as I have some files that are 'always available' and as the server appears to be offline it shows the local copies of the files marked 'always available'. According to the share permissions the credentials that are being used to attempt to connect to the server are correct, as for if access is being denied regardless of credentials I don't know how to find that out. |

Can no longer access computer or network shares to my server from any other computers on the network On the computer I am on now it gives no error as I have 'always available' offline files that are stored on the server (user profiles). On other computers on the network it gives the error "windows cannot access //Server check the spelling of the name..." I tried disabled the windows firewall this does not fix the problem :( Network discovery is enabled on the server and every computer on the network. Thanks for the suggestions :D |

Can no longer access computer or network shares to my server from any other computers on the network I only have a vague idea of what you just said. Would you mind talking me through how to confirm if this is the case and exactly what to do to fix it? Thanks for your help. |
