John is a principal at Avenue 80, Inc., a custom software development company who works with you, and not just for you.

We don't gather requirements, disappear into our workshop and return with a completed product. Our approach is to involve you at every step, week by week, showing progress and getting your feedback, which we apply immediately. This is the only way to solve complex problems. We often find that what you thought you wanted isn't what you really needed. Priorities and visions shift, and instead of fighting it we embrace it and adapt, because ultimately we only succeed when you do.

comment Configuring transactional MSMQ on load-balanced servers
Understood - not to belabor the point, but are those the only options? Is that the tradeoff? You can choose maximum reliability or maximum performance, but not both? If there's some other configuration besides an active/passive failover, or a load-balanced farm, I'd love to know.

That's sorta' what I figured(and feared). So, is the preferred configuration clustered failover servers using a SAN for reliable storage?

I'm not sure - it could be that Tomcat is causing apache to skip it entirely. There's no *:8080 in my apache conf.

Active Server Pages are enabled globally, and .asp is mapped to the asp.dll under ISAPI extensions at the virtual directory level.

No, it doesn't execute. Script contents are returned to the browser.
