VLSM network subnetting and expanding of ip range drw, are you actually using this IP range? If so is there a reason why you are stifling what addresses you use from this private network range? Just curious. |

Can all routers do load balancing? "Load balancing" when it comes to routing is redundant links with something like OSPF cost statements and let your routing protocol take care of it. |

Should I timesync against PDC Emulator or NTP timesource? (PDC not in hub) @mfinni And in my defense there was no mention of 80x different sites in the question. Multinational tells me spread out foot print with possibility of broken links this is why I recommend it. Anyone who reads this question please know that and use my recommendation only for a smaller amount of sites and with multinational/multitimezone wan links. |

Should I timesync against PDC Emulator or NTP timesource? (PDC not in hub) everyone has an opinion I guess, it just so happens I work in a field that does require that time of fidelity so take all my advice with that in mind. I certainly would not advocate 80x gps enabled time servers but where there is a writeable DC go with it. |

Should I timesync against PDC Emulator or NTP timesource? (PDC not in hub) 1k per a server location, with a network of this size timing is crucial not just for AD replication but security iccidents. I think its worth the money if they can swing it. |

Setup local caching DNS server for speed DNS is recursive, DNS caching saves entries locally but not permantly. Running a bind server is a very great idea if you are trying to learn. |

Connecting to a HTTP URL over port 443 You can serve up http on literally any port you desire ports 1 - 65535 but if this server is serving https on 443 and you try to go http on 443 it is a no-go |
