using git on DOS command line asks for password - but not when using TortoiseGit or gitBash can you do a password-less ssh comand on the server? and is the remote machine password or the ssh key password that u get asked? |

cygWin connect by SSH using RSA key; ssh.exe couldn't create /home/user/.ssh you have defined the HOME variable with the correct path? or maybe u need to mount /home to the correct directory, have past some time since I used cygwin |
