How can I visualize hard disk space with millions of files? For now it's one time. I need to know which directories are the largest (dir + children) but I will need to go a few directories in before that information in valid. Then I will need to have a break-up of files by date so I can view recent vs old files. |

How can I visualize hard disk space with millions of files? I gave it a try. When I run the analyze it suffers the same fate most of these other programs have. Too many files/folders stored in memory. |

An interesting thing to note here as I'm watching FolderSizes do it's thing. 10 million seems to be the magical number for this drive to start hitting millions of empty folders. The file count is barely moving while folder counts are going crazy. |
