comment Outlook 2010 needs a password every 30 minutes
Changing the auth method to Windows Integrated on the RPC vdir should stop the prompting for your users. However there are many considerations you need to take into account before doing this. It may not be an option for you. TMG/ISA frontends need special consideration/setup when attempting this. Also, this will change how your users use Outlook Anywhere, I.E. a domain will be required when logging in. Etc.

You're not viewing the GAL when using Outlook(assuming cached mode is being used.) You're viewing the OAB (Offline Address Book), which is a periodically generated version of the GAL. It can up to 24 hours for a client to receive OAB updates.

comment Mac office which needs to run windows application and we don't want parallels on every mac
That may be true on such a large scale, but his usage case is a small law office. Each of these people would be using CoRD to connect to 1 server. I've not seen the character corruption that you speak of.

What you need to check first, is that this application is compatible with RDS/Terminal Services. If it's not, then you'll need a different plan.

I disagree with your comment about CoRD, it's relatively solid. What you'll lose by using it is the ability to use NLA (Network Level Authentication) and that's not really necessary anyways.

They would be able to spin up 2 VMs total (assuming the quota is 2) per Cluster. # of nodes is irrelevant.
