I'm a student at Penn State University studying for a degree in meteorology with a focus in computer science. Both meteorology and technology are deep passions of mine.
My favorite type of programming is web programming (I'm especially fond of PHP+MySQL setups), but I'll never turn down the chance to learn something new - be it a new language, how some sort of hardware works, etc!

Access SSHFS Share with Apache/Python Yes, I know the problem is that permission is denied (further confirmed by the 403 error when I tried to access the symblink-pointed directory directly in a web browser). Your solution would seem logical other than the fact that the share is mounted read-only. Issue the chmod you provided (or any chmod, actually) just nets me the error chmod: changing permissions of /mnt/rpm': Read-only file system` . For the record, the ls -l of mnt appears as: drwxr-sr-x. 1 1209 1200 4096 Jul 6 13:27 rpm. I guess what I'm trying to see at this point is: are there any workarounds to this situation? |
