comment change parameters value of a puppet module in a inherited node
Sounds nice, but is there another way? I'd like to avoid to have an external definition file. Thanks

comment Cannot use REST API through port on my server running on my mac at home
I don't know about comcast but google your router model and how to open a port. I think if you type "Open bitorrent port on router YXZ" you can find quickly how to do it, you just have to replace your port number by 28017

comment How to revert a configuration with puppet
Hmmm yeah, I was looking for a simpler solution like "ok you had this module configured and now you don't have it anymore, I assume I can delete it" you see what I mean ?

comment How can I provide a default configuration file with puppet but allow the server administrator to update it
Thanks for your solution but I don't know how MySQL would react if we set the engine to innodb via puppet and then the admin wants to configure another engine using a conf file in the /etc/mysql/conf.d

comment If statement that detects current server subdomain?
That's normal, the values must be exactly the same! You can write a regular expression to detect that have a look on php.net php.net/manual/en/function.preg-match.php

So they stopped moving at minimum level. I asked the same question in VMWare's forum. Thank you for your help

So I set the Migration threshold's cursor to the minimum (Conservative)... There are two clusters in my farm, only on of them is having this issue. Weird

Fully automated and the cursor is set to "Aggressive"
