I am a DBA at a small company; I’m responsible for managing the company’s Oracle and MySQL databases, including performance monitoring and tuning, upgrades and maintenance. Lately I am also involved in deploying test servers on the Amazon EC2 cloud, very interested in cloud database and cloud storage technology. Aside from database stuff I'm an amateur photographer and learning to make killer Japanese food (not quite there yet :)
