He mentions an ESXi cluster with 4 servers. How can you do USB passthrough with multiple hosts ? I guess that's why he is asking a question about usb-over-ip

@Michuelnik: IMHO the post-up/pre-up integrates more cleanly with debian + configuration is in a single file. Beware: I experienced that in case of bonding/bridging the pre/post are only called on the interfaces that are actually brought up (not on the slaves, etc..)

You'd better use a post-up for i in rx tx gso ; do ethtool -K $IFACE $i off; done in /etc/network/interfaces

comment ZFS: How can I stop a zpool replace that's currently in progress?
I had the same "replacing bits" in zpool status. I did a zpool detach /dev/ada0 (since the message was "was /dev/ada0") and everything went fine.
