comment File readable by only PHP?
@MichaelHampton I'm trying to have a bunch of files with data to load into a page, and I'm too lazy to make a database, since it will bever really be edited.

comment How do I use robots.txt to disallow crawling for only my subdomains?
OK, so within the server, I have my root files and /Subdomains with their own index.html's. I'm not sure how common this is, but on the service I use (1&1), an actual subdomain (sub.domain.com) can be linked to a folder. I can have sub.domain.com link to /Subdomains/SomeSite (and /Subdomains/SomeSite/index.html from there). Will disallowing /Subdomains work in this case?

Would this work? User-agent: *; Allow: *; Disallow: /subdomains?

comment Existing file nonexistent?
@JohnK I use SFTP. The problem image is the only file from the internet, but if I take any other image and download it, it's rw-r--r--

@JohnK it's 777 rwxrwxrwx on my machine, but for some reason every file on the server is rw-r--r--, except this one, which became rw-------. Weird, but it's fixed.

comment Network-wide domain?
@Skaperen It would only be for my network, private IP (192...). If I can do the custom TLD, a mixup wouldn't be relevant, but if that can't be done feasibly, I would want it to override external domains, so that even if I chose something like google.com, I'd see my network page. I'd also rather not edit the hosts file on every device.
